In 1996, Michael established Michael Green & Co, the practice that would expand to become MGK & Co. With more than 20 years’ accounting experience, his no-nonsense approach has helped clients across the country push their boundaries and grow their businesses.

Clients appreciate his professionalism, business acumen and can-do attitude. He is not a “yes man”, he just gets in and gets the job done. Michael has the strategic know-how to build a financially successful business beyond traditional accounting. After all, he has done it with MGK.

Michael is a fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants and holds a Masters’ of Professional Accounting. He specialises in taxation, business restructuring and consulting, self-managed superfunds, and is a registered SMSF Auditor.

His passion for business goes beyond the 9-5. He is a past chairman of the SSBEC, BEC of the year twice under his stewardship. He is also a regular at local business networking events, willing to share his experiences to help others.

In his free time, he enjoys muscle cars, property development, travelling and fishing.

Kim is our quiet achiever. She has been with MGK since 2000, starting in administration before transitioning to accounting. After two decades, the time was right for Kim to join, as senior partner, with Michael, forming MGK & Co Accountants in July 2022.

As our senior partner and accountant, Kim is an integral part of the team. Her regular small and medium business clients trust her with a range of accounting and value-add services such as payroll, tax planning, budgeting, business strategies and more. She takes great pride in finding financial efficiencies and helping clients navigate their cash flow and succeed in business. She lives locally; Kim and her husband have six children between them.
